Description
The Security Assurance Specialist is a customer‑facing, product‑focused security expert within the Customer Success organization, responsible for ensuring customers realize intended security outcomes from the Cynet platform.
The role operates in support of Partner Success Manager–led engagements, contributing security expertise through structured reviews, posture validation, and product‑specific insights at key points in the customer lifecycle.

- Incidents are translated into platform‑level improvements and trust
- PSMs and partners are supported by consistent, credible security expertise
What will you do
- Validate customer security posture within the Cynet platform through structured posture reviews, gap analyses, and configuration benchmarking against recommended outcomes
- Assess feature adoption and usage, identifying gaps and providing targeted guidance to strengthen protection and effective use of the platform
- Produce and maintain security scorecards and assurance reports that demonstrate measurable security value over time
- Participate in post‑incident reviews with SOC and PSMs to explain incidents in product context, validate control effectiveness, and recommend platform‑level improvements
- Reinforce customer confidence and renewal readiness by clearly articulating security outcomes, improvements, and residual risk within Cynet’s scope
- Identify recurring customer gaps and trends, feeding insights into product improvement, enablement content, and best‑practice materials
- Enable PSMs and partners with consistent, product‑aligned security messaging through collaboration with Product, SOC, and Enablement teams
Requirements
Experience
- 3–5+ years in a customer‑facing cybersecurity role, working technically with security solution configuration and implementation.
- Experience engaging customers in security‑focused discussions
- Familiarity with SaaS security platforms and customer success environments
Skills
- Strong understanding of security controls and best practices
- Ability to explain security solutions clearly to technical and executive audiences
- Comfortable influencing outcomes without owning the customer relationship
Technical Background (Preferred)
- Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, AWS, M365, Azure, cloud APIs and security integrations
Certifications (Nice to Have)
- CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent
