We are looking for Process Engineer
Job description:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Process Engineer to oversee production activities at a contract manufacturer site in China. This role involves supervising the technical and operational aspects of outsourced manufacturing to ensure compliance with our company’s standards in quality, efficiency, and process consistency. The successful candidate will act as the main technical liaison between our internal teams and the external manufacturing partner.
This position will require short term assignments to China for periods of one week (25% travling) at a time, every month.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a Device/Test Engineer or Lab Physicist.
- • Experience in semiconductor assembly is an advantage.
- • Experience in testing and characterization of photonic components is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Strong manufacturing and data analysis capabilities (Statistics, DOE, JMP).
- Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, or other programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with electrical or optical measurements
- Solid understanding of electrical device physics.
Education:
- Degree in Engineering or Physics.
Responsibilities
- Manage all product testing activities at the contract manufacturer to ensure compliance with specifications while meeting yield, quality, and capacity targets.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and investigate failures in test systems and test processes.
- Monitor production KPIs, identify process deviations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the introduction, installation, and qualification of new test solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between the contract manufacturer and the RND team.
