Dustphotonics, a leading manufacturer of silicon photonic devices, is looking for an Operations Engineer to be resident at our Contract Manufacturing (CM) site in Shenzhen, China.

This is a full-time, on-site role focused on daily production execution, CM management, and fast problem resolution.

• 5-10 years of experience in production / operations roles, preferably in OSAT or contract manufacturing

• Experience with electro-optical products

• Hands-on experience in Assembly & Test environments

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA)

• Data-driven, execution-oriented mindset

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Advantage:

Experience with optical interconnects, transceivers or optical integration production line.

Education

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related field

• Be on-site daily at the CM and own production execution according to the production plan

• Track production progress and ensure on-time delivery

• Oversee Assembly & Test operations

• Act as the first point of contact for production issues and escalation

• Resolve production bottlenecks in real time

• Serve as the main operations interface with the Contract Manufacturer

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and specifications

• Build and monitor KPIs (yield, throughput, quality, delivery)

• Provide daily updates and weekly reports

• Work closely with Engineering, R&D (Israel), and Procurement teams
