Finance / Accounting Intern
Location: Hybrid -Tel Aviv office (flexible schedule)
Hours: Part-time, up to 20 hours/week
Reports to: Head of Finance
The Role
We're looking for a finance/accounting intern to join our finance team. This isn't a "sit and watch" internship - you'll be hands-on from day one, contributing to real month-end close processes while helping us build smarter, faster workflows using AI and automation tools.
You'll split your time between core accounting work and process innovation - turning manual, Excel-heavy tasks into scalable, automated solutions.
What You'll DoAccounting & Month-End Close- Prepare journal entries; perform general ledger analysis and review
- Execute reconciliations - bank, intercompany, and balance sheet
- Participate in the month-end close process: accruals, cutoffs, reclassifications, and close checklist execution
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
- Identify manual, repetitive processes across the finance function and propose automation solutions
- Build automated Excel reports, dashboards, and templates to replace recurring manual work
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to streamline data collection from multiple sources (ERP, banks, payroll)
- Design and implement reconciliation workflow templates that reduce close cycle time
- Assist with monthly variance analysis - actuals vs. budget/forecast
- Accounting student (3rd or 4th year) or recent graduate
- Advanced Excel proficiency - pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data modeling
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation (LLM tools, AI assistants, workflow automation)
- Strong Google Workspace skills (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
- Experience with NetSuite
- Prior internship or work experience in a finance/accounting environment
- Real-world accounting in tech: Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and GL management at a growing technology company
- AI & automation skills: Build practical automation capabilities that are increasingly in demand across the finance profession
