Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated NOC Monitoring Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This role is ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields who want to gain hands-on industry experience.

As a Monitoring Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our telecom infrastructure by monitoring network performance, detecting issues, and escalating incidents when necessary. You will work in a 24x7 shift environment, collaborating with experienced engineers while building your skills in real-world telecom operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network elements, alarms, and performance dashboards to ensure service availability.
  • Detect, identify, and escalate faults or anomalies in real time.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and basic diagnostics of telecom systems.
  • Open, track, and close incident tickets according to established procedures.
  • Escalate issues to senior engineers or support teams when required.
  • Maintain accurate shift logs and documentation of incidents.
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing observations and suggesting optimizations.

Requirements

  • Current student in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields (2nd–3rd year).
  • Strong eagerness to learn and develop practical telecom and network operations skills.
  • Basic understanding of telecommunications networks (mobile, fixed, IP, transmission).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work on a 24x7 rotating shift schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • English proficiency (written and spoken) is an advantage.
