We help millions of people create homes they love

In the beginning, in 2016, we were just two best friends working on a simple idea: how to make it super easy to turn your favorite smartphone photos into awesome wall art.

Today, we have multiple product lines with millions of customers, including Mixtiles, Mixtiles Art, Easyplant, and Around. And we're shipping new products every year.

We love what we do, and we love people who love what they do. If you're that kind of person, read on.

Small team = a lot of impact

We’re ~100 people, with wildly diverse skill sets, serving millions of customers. Each of us drives a lot of impact. Your work will matter

Products people love

Working on products you & your family personally use creates a feeling of connection, fun, and spreads good karma

Our secret formula = make it easy to use

It’s how we re-invented the picture frame, and then the houseplant. It’s how we got to millions of customers. It’s pure design, and people love it

Solve hard, real world problems

Every day, we handle extreme challenges in user experience, manufacturing and scale for which we use tech like AI, AR & robotics

A real business, built to last

We believe great products have great unit economics. That’s why Mixtiles is a high growth company that’s also profitable

US-based • Remote (Miami Area or DC Area) • Up to 40% travel (primarily domestic, with occasional international)

Build the manufacturing systems that make thriving plants easy—at scale.

The Company

At Easyplant, we make it simple to keep your plants alive—and your home feeling alive too. We’re part of the Mixtiles family, and we’ve developed a self-watering system that helps customers succeed with plants from day one. We’re scaling fast and investing in smarter, more efficient manufacturing to keep quality high and costs low.

What You’re Applying For

We’re looking for an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer to design, scale, and continuously improve the next generation of Easyplant’s manufacturing lines. You’ll turn product intent into robust, repeatable processes with suppliers and production partners—driving quality up, COGS down, and launches that run smoothly the first time.

Your Mission

Turn bold Easyplant product visions into world‑class, scalable manufacturing that delivers flawless quality, lower cost, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Easyplant manufacturing flow end-to-end across global partners: onboard new sites, keep daily execution tight, build trusted factory relationships, and travel up to 40% to keep lines running smoothly.
  • Cultivate strong, long‑term relationships with manufacturing partners and key suppliers to align priorities, accelerate problem‑solving, and unlock joint improvements.
  • Improve quality by setting clear supplier standards, preventing common mistakes, and fixing issues quickly—from first signal to verified fix.
  • Build and improve the tools: design and make jigs, fixtures, gauges, and simple test rigs; introduce light automation where it clearly pays off.
  • Launch new products and categories from lab/prototype to pilot and stable production—standing up lines, managing first builds, and smoothing the ramp.
  • Turn data into action and lower COGS: set clear plans, track yield/defects/cycle time in simple dashboards, drive design and process tweaks, and partner with Engineering, Product, and Supply Chain to balance speed, cost, and customer experience.

What You Bring

  • An engineer by training - BS/BSc in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Quality-strong - 5+ years in manufacturing QA/QC or complex manufacturing development.
  • Factory-fluent - solid grasp of industrial quality, supplier management, and hard-goods manufacturing methods.
  • An end-to-end owner - you plan it, run it, and land it with tight execution.
  • Self-driven and remote-savvy — you move work forward without heavy oversight.
  • Analytical and practical - you use data to decide, then go see and fix.
  • Comfortable with 3D CAD - SolidWorks/Onshape/Fusion is a plus.
  • Plant-curious - interest in indoor plant care is a real advantage.
  • Travel-ready - comfortable being on-site up to ~40% (mostly U.S., some international).

If you like solving real manufacturing problems and seeing the results in the product, we’d love to meet you.
