About the Role:
The Senior People Operations Partner will play a critical role in driving excellence across our People Operations function. This role combines expertise in benefits administration, compliance, data analytics, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of people operations and a passion for improving employee experience through efficient processes, accurate data insights, and a comprehensive understanding of benefits programs.
What you will do:
Operational Excellence:
- Drive continuous improvement in People Operations processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate and compliant HRIS records, partnering with payroll to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Manage employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, offboarding, and transitions, ensuring seamless experiences.
- Oversee all compliance initiatives, including EEO reporting, labor law updates, and policy adherence.
- Collaborate with payroll, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless coordination of HR operations.
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance people processes, systems, and policies.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying gaps, implementing scalable solutions, and measuring their impact.
- Lead the implementation and integration of HRIS systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
Benefit Administration:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other perks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to employee benefits.
- Partner with external vendors and brokers to manage renewals, evaluate offerings, and negotiate terms.
- Conduct regular audits of benefit programs to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Develop and deliver communication strategies to promote employee understanding and engagement with benefits programs.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Ensure data integrity across HR systems, providing high-quality, accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Build and manage HR dashboards to monitor and report on key metrics such as retention, engagement, DEIB, and workforce trends.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement in People Operations strategies.
What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related role with a focus
- on benefits administration and data analytics.
- Expertise in benefits administration, data analytics, and compliance in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale HR initiatives and deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across levels.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data visualization tools (e.g., BambooHR, HiBob, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $120,000 - $166,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location
