We are looking for a hands-on Security Applications Team Lead to join our fast-growing company and build a brand-new team from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation, lead talented engineers, and shape the future of Torq’s security applications content.
What Will You Do?
- Build and lead a new team from scratch.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, focusing on professional growth.
- Lead the development of pre-built security steps, workflows, and templates to accelerate customer adoption.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated PM to align product priorities with business goals and deliver maximum customer value.
- Improve workflows and create unified standards for security content and processes.
- Build and enhance engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD, DevOps, platform reliability, and testing systems.
- Foster a multidisciplinary, innovative environment while maintaining high engineering standards.
What Should You Bring to The Table?
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and guiding teams.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience leading teams or mentoring technical talent.
- Proficiency in Go - an advantage.
- Background in security - an advantage.
- Strategic thinking and high-level problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.
